So DIsney has bought Lucasfilm for a little over $4bn, and in the same breath announced Star Wars episode 7, slated for release in 2015. Can this be a good thing? Lucas remains onboard as a ‘creative consultant’, which might not be a good thing, but here’s hoping Disney can inject cool back into the franchise.
